Inspired by the blue-painted villages of Nubia near Aswan, this work reflects the vivid rhythm of daily life along the Nile. Layers of deep blue move across the surface like heat and light passing through the streets, while simplified figures suggest the constant motion of people, animals, and trade. In the Nubian village, color defines the landscape. Walls glow in brilliant blues beneath the Egyptian sun while camels, donkeys, horses, and people share the narrow roads in a choreography that feels both ancient and immediate. Standing there, it felt less like visiting a distant place and more like stepping into another time — a moment where the ancient world and the present seemed to exist together in the same breath.
