Inspired by childhood games Redeat used to play growing up in Addis. This photo booklet will take you in a journey of memories of the games you use to play as a kid no matter where you grew up.

Each page will be surprising, exciting and the black and white images will provoke a sense of nostalgia. The photo series focuses on images Redeat have been photographing since 2019 of children playing games in different neighborhoods in Ethiopia.

It is meant to connect us to the games we played growing up and shows no matter where you’re from you’ll find a game that you probably played as a child.
