Art of Noize is proud to present the powerful and visually stunning works of Zsudayka Nzinga in our new exhibition, “The Weather,” which opens April 5, 2025 and runs until April 26th.

Through figuration, landscape and deconstructed interior spaces, Nzinga investigates the revolutionary act of choosing to love, choosing to rest, and choosing to create beautiful spaces despite the ever present experience of oppression and labor exploitation. The Weather, is a concept introduced by Dr. Christina Clarke in her 2019 book, In the Wake, where Dr. Clarke explores the unique ways that Black people adjust to systemic oppression, like we adjust to the weather.

This exhibition is free & open to the public during gallery hours.
